Collection of Personal and Non-Personal Information
When visiting the AutoVantage web site, in order to join, make a purchase, register to use certain services, enter a sweepstakes, respond to a survey or update your information you may be asked to provide certain personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") about yourself, such as your name, e-mail address, physical address, telephone number, date of birth or mother's maiden name. For enrollment and purchases, we require a name, physical address, telephone number, credit or debit card number or related checking account and card expiration date. You may review and revise any Personal Information we have about you by sending a request to service@autovantage.com or calling 1-800-999-4CAR.

We may also request non-personally identifiable information ("Demographic Information"), such as annual income, buying preferences, or your age. This information is maintained anonymously, so we have information about everyone as a group who answered the questions, rather than information about a single individual's responses. Providing this Demographic Information is optional.

Information Usage
We use Personal Information to perform business functions, such as serving our members and other customers, developing new products and services, fulfilling orders and contacting you when necessary, such as when a delivery may be delayed or when an ordered product is out of stock. Your California Privacy Rights

If we receive your request at a different e-mail or mailing address, we will respond within a reasonable period of time, but not to exceed 150 days from the date received. Please note that we are only required to respond to each customer once per calendar year.

"Cookies" are pieces of information that may be placed on your computer by a Web site for the purpose of facilitating and enhancing your communication and interaction with that Web site. Almost all Web sites use cookies for these purposes.

AutoVantage utilizes Standard SSL encryption on pages where secure information is transmitted over the Internet. We also use VeriSign as our Certificate of Authority.

Treatment of Information of Former Members and Customers We will continue to follow our privacy policy for your Personal Information even when you are no longer a member or other customer of our business.
